profile about longtime Medi-Cal chief Stan Rosenstein, who will leave the Department of Health Services next month.
We made more detailed comments a few weeks ago about Stan's departure (with a picture, below). The tribute is also a tribute to the Medi-Cal program, which covers one in five Californians--over six and a half million, including many low-income seniors, people with disabilities, children, and in some cases, their parents. This remarkable program provide funding for much of the health care system on which we all rely.
